What is the purpose of this site?

eBay is eliminating the ability for its sellers to leave anything but positive feedback for their buyers.  Since eBay is no longer willing to provide this valuable service to its customers someone else must.  This site seeks to become the de facto standard for viewing and leaving buyer feedback.


Isn't this just another anti eBay or anti PayPal site?

There are plenty of those on the internet but this isn't one of them. If that is what you are looking for they are very easy to find.

Is this site really free?

Yes, leaving feedback for your customers on this site is completely free. There are no plans to charge for this service. Adding a cost would also limit the use by the seller community.


Do you offer any incentives for leaving feedback?

Yes, for every feedback comment you leave you can receive one free spot in the ad rotation on the right for your auctions.  Once joined you can opt out at any time.

Example:  

You leave 10 feedback comments for your buyers out of a total of 100 comments left on this site.  Your auctions will be displayed on this website 10% of the time.

How do I leave feedback for my customer?

Once joined, you'll be prompted to link one or more of your eBay accounts with our service.  Once your account is linked, we download your recent transactions and present them to you in a manner similar to eBay's system.  You can then pick your rating and comment for each transaction.

Currently there are also plans to create a free software application to leave your feedback.  Likely features would include an easy to use interface allowing you to pick which auctions to leave feedback and bulk feedback.  A login account will be necessary to use the software.


What personal information do you collect?

No membership or personal information is necessary to leave feedback.

If you do choose to create an account with us then we will collect your name, email address, country, state, and postal code.  All other information will be optional.  It is highly recommended that you don't use your eBay password when creating your account.


When can I start?

Feedback can be left immediately, however certain restrictions apply for transactions that occurred before eBay's policy change went into effect.


Do you verify all feedback?

We verify that the sale occurred and that the seller is the one leaving the feedback.   This is done automatically using the eBay API system and information that eBay makes publicly available.

We do not verify that the comments are factual.  It would be impossible to do so and we would incur unnecessary liability.  Grace v. eBay


Can I remove/change feedback that I've left?

No, the feedback that you leave is a permanent record on this site.


I'm a buyer, how can I get feedback about me removed?

If the feedback violates our policy then it will qualify for removal.

You are also permitted to respond once to each comment that has been left about you.

We do honor court orders or if you can prove that you've won a libel or defamation case in court against the seller for feedback they've left on this site.


I'm a buyer, can I leave feedback too?

If you wish to leave feedback for your seller then do it on eBay.  It would not be fair to leave feedback for a seller here since it would subject them to double jeopardy.

You are however permitted to use the site to publicly respond to feedback left about you.


Are you a seller on eBay?

I started selling on eBay in 2002 and reached the Gold PowerSeller level five years and over 3000 sales later.

Believe it or not, I did lose my perfect 100% feedback rating to a seller that sold me a broken item, but I still firmly support the seller's right to leave negative and neutral feedback.
